I am a late arriving peace activist who finds time to write in the earliest of morning hours, after a cup of coffee and time to commune with the trees, or the darkness, depending upon the season. In the world we mistakenly imagine is real, I am an engineer in the fabled bureaucracy. In between, I enjoying kayaking and reading and wondering why we are here.
I have a son who recently completed his third tour in
Books that never let go:
James Hillman – The Soul’s Code, A Blue Fire, Re-visioning Psychology, Healing Fiction, the thought of the heart and the soul of the world
Thomas Moore – Care of the Soul, The Soul’s Religion, The Re-enchantment of Everyday Life, Dark Nights of the Soul
Rainer Maria Rilke – Letters to a Young Poet
Vine Deloria Jr. – God is Red
Daniel Ellsberg – Secrets
Favorite Quote: “The truer you are to your daimon, the closer you are to the death that belongs to your destiny.” ... James Hillman
